At AgXplore, our goal was to develop advanced nitrogen management technology, not just a stabilizer. When you think about effective nitrogen management, the Four R’s often come to mind: the right product, the right rate, the right time, and the right place. Our innovative XN technology emphasizes the importance of nitrogen placement.

Our ContaiN product family—ContaiN™, ContaiN Advanced™, and ContaiN MAX™—integrates XN technology with NBPT to combat nitrogen loss due to volatility. When growers impregnate urea with ContaiN products, NBPT reduces nitrogen loss into the atmosphere, while our XN technology ensures nitrogen remains within the upper inches of the soil profile, even after moisture. This synergy leads to concentrated nitrogen around the root zone, maximizing uptake.

Proper placement is crucial for nitrogen management due to soil composition. XN technology ensures nitrogen stays in the optimal soil zone. For instance, in soils with anhydrous placed seven inches deep, our technology creates negative sites, which keep nitrogen within reach of the root system, minimizing leaching and nitrogen loss.

By stabilizing nitrogen in the ammonium form, encouraging better nitrogen uptake, and holding nitrogen near the topsoil, XN technology ensures a steady nitrogen supply, reduces leaching, and feeds plants over time.
